Villa Papaya
What was it like before?
Before we embarked on this interior design project, the villa was divided into several small rooms that lacked space and blocked the stunning views of the surrounding landscape and Javea Bay. The cramped layout made it difficult to appreciate the beauty that awaited outside. Each room felt separate and disconnected, preventing a seamless flow throughout the villa. The confined spaces hindered the ability to fully immerse oneself in the breathtaking surroundings. The transformation aimed to break down these barriers and create a more open and cohesive living environment.
The Process: Moodboard
At FJ Styling, we began the interior design process for Villa Papaya by creating a moodboard.
We worked closely with our clients to capture their vision and preferences.
Using inspiring images, color palettes, and materials, we developed a cohesive concept that reflected our clients’ desires.
The Concept: Renders
With the approved moodboard as a guide, we proceeded to the conceptual design of Villa Papaya. We created beautiful renders to provide a realistic depiction of how the new spaces would look. The renders showcased an open plan living/dining area with seamless transitions between the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The design capitalized on the breathtaking views of the surroundings and created a harmonious and modern atmosphere.
The Renovation
Armed with the final concept, we began the renovation of Villa Papaya. The walls on the first floor were removed to create a spacious, open area. This resulted in a seamless connection between the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The floors were replaced with new tiles, and the bathrooms underwent a complete makeover with modern amenities.
On the lower floor, a luxurious master bedroom was created with an ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, and large windows to allow abundant natural light. The garden and pool area were also refurbished, with a portion of the rock wall removed to expand the terrace surrounding the pool. Now, residents can fully enjoy the beautiful view while relaxing at the edge of their pool.

The Result
The result of the interior design project at Villa Papaya is stunning. The villa has been transformed into a modern and stylish home with an open plan living/dining area that invites togetherness while enjoying the breathtaking view.
The new kitchen is functional and contemporary, while the bathrooms have become havens of comfort and luxury. This renovated villa is ready to be called home.
